| What do a soap star and a soap company have in common? They’ve come together to offer gift ideas that elicit “aaaahs” and support breast cancer research to boot. |
| Your odds of surviving cancer depend on which country you live in. According to the international CONCORD study, which measured survival rates in breast, prostate, colon and rectal cancers, the United States has the highest survival rates for breast and prostate cancers. Colon and rectal cancer survival rates were highest in Japan for men and France for women. The researchers site economic differences among countries, access to health care, and the availability of cancer treatments as key reasons for differences in cancer survival between nations. The American Cancer Society has national cancer statistics available online. |
